Take a Look at a Presidential House

Yes, it was the summer house of President Eisenhower, and was built in 1873. Built to have stunning views of both harbor and bay. The space is perfect for up to 150 guests and offers a vintage décor for your pleasure at Fort Adams.

Inside the Walls

If you want to feel like you have stepped back in time, the Parade field maybe the place for you. The lush lawn with in the walls of Fort Adams is waiting to make your day. The tented space sits on over 6 acres, with the stunning views of the fort walls and stone work.

If you were hoping for a more literal inside the walls experience, look at North Casemates. Inside Fort Adams, there are 3 chambers, all with amazing vaulted ceilings, and they are calling your name. The view from the wall being the beautiful parade field, imagine how many people have stood there over the years. The stunning windows, with views of the water, were at one time gun ports.

Can you imagine having your Newport photo booth right there with you, capturing the feeling, history, and memories? Each photo offering its own story, just as the space itself. You will love this experience and so will your guests.

To the North and West

The gorgeous North lawn of Fort Adams waits for you and up to 600 of your closest people. Views of the water, the feel of the breeze, all adding to the beauty of both the space and your day. As the sun sets, the north wall of the fort is lit up and creates a truly pleasant atmosphere addition.

The west lawn is just as beautiful as the north. Event space for smaller amounts, 20-150 guests in the privacy of a tent makes for a wonderful shaded area. The Pell bridge can be seen from here as well as the bay.
