At MiHi Entertainment we believe that as a business and as individuals we would like to provide help to those in need. During the 2020 quarantine, this is has become even more crucial and beneficial to communities that need assistance due to the trying times. Luckily, there is an amazing group of people who are working tirelessly to help, not only in our current climate but beyond as well. This Highlight focuses on the “Kyndfulness” of Project Helping.
Project Helping is a Non-Profit Organization whose mission is to build mental wellness through accessible experiences that create purpose and community. They believe that volunteerism, kindness, and gratitude can drastically improve mental health. In order to attain this Project Helping has created programming in a multitude of areas. The three main ways that they have decided to carry out their mission are through their volunteer experiences, “Kynd Kits”, and the Kynd Hub. Each of these important programs highlights the different ways in which they work towards a common goal.
Project helping has created volunteer opportunities that are generally put on about 30 times a month. These programs are generally located in Denver but are also known to stretch anywhere from Tampa Bay to San Diego! Experiences include many kinds of projects including organic farming, blood drives, medical supply pack creation, providing support to families in need, and many more!

Kynd Kits are described as “a volunteer experience in a box”. Project helping understands that not everyone is able to get out and volunteer especially during trying times. These kits are put together by volunteers and sent out to those who sign up and are redecorated and packaged to suit the needs of those receiving them. Each package is specially designed for different cause areas of those in need. These include homelessness, children in foster care, healthcare workers, seniors, and military. Each package even includes a personalized letter to the recipient!
The Kynd Hub is a social media platform for doing good things. Through this outlet, you can share acts of kyndness, gratitude, volunteer hours, and much more. The Kynd Hub even has a very well out together event management tool in which every event that is hosted is posted. Using the Kynd Hub you can find volunteer opportunities in many different communities and easily sign up for them in your area.
Project Helping is a great organization that believes everyone should have the opportunity to improve their mental wellness. The volunteer experiences that are provided are meant to build your own mental well-being as well as benefitting the recipients of their Kynd acts. During times like these, an organization that truly seeks to support those in need is very meaningful for everyone involved.
