Dressing your best, beautiful spring weather, tons of free alcohol, and helping financially needy students into college- can you think of a better way to spend a Saturday? We are proud to have been a part of the Derby Party in downtown Denver this past weekend along with other great Denver photo booth companies.
Put on by the Sean Ranch Lough-Foundation, the Denver Derby Party is a fundraiser to help students pay for tuition at Colorado State University through scholarships. These students are typically from the Denver Metro Area, first generation college students, and maintain a 3.0 GPA in high school.
For the Derby Party we chose to bring our Vintage Photo Booth and pair it with a beautiful moss backdrop custom made by thewrightdetails.com. As with every event, we expect little hiccups in setup so we brought the backdrop a day before in order to prevent last minute scrambling, and I’m so glad we did.

We didn’t anticipate there being a BIG POLE that would be running between the backdrop, so we did what anyone would do- we bought a ton of moss and covered the gap as best as we could with a hot glue gun and lots of elbow grease.

After about an hour and a half of trying to get the moss to stay in the gap, we were finally able to come up with a **decent** solution.
We feel despite the backdrop gap, the pictures turned out great!
