Denver Photo Booth October Recap

Denver’s favorite photo booth company has been so busy that I’m finally posting our October recap, less than two weeks before the end of November. Whoops! 2016 is flying by so fast and I feel winded! Keep reading for some of my favorite highlights of October 2016.

October’s first event sent Jeff and I up into Glenwood Springs to the Hotel Colorado for an amazing five hour wedding rental. Our drive to Glenwood from Denver was so amazing due to the breathtaking colors of Colorado in the fall. Speaking of this fall, I think we can all agree that this autumn took the cake for amazing colors and long-lasting warm weather.

The following weekend sent Jeff back up I-70 to another wedding, this time in Avon. It was held at the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa and Jeff had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie Fleck, owner of Party Girl Events. He said Stephanie’s eye for detail and genuine excitement for the couple was inspiring.

On Thursday, October 13th, we had the honor of teaming up with Tumblr and Icebreakers to provide our services to the fans attending the Phantogram concert in Boulder. We utilized our green screen, GIF and booth wrap services and it all looked so amazing put together. I can’t wait until we get hired as a GIF booth in Denver again. Our booth’s GIF capability has definitely turned into my favorite add on service.

I brought the booth down to a wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur on the 14th and I immediately fell in love with the location. Driving up to the venue left me breathless. It was so gorgeous. From the landscape and lake views to the huge buck roaming the grass less than 100 yards from the front door, Spruce Mountain Ranch makes for the perfect Colorado wedding venue.

We also did four more events that weekend including another one at Lionsgate Event Center, our fourth event at The Wellshire Event Center, and one for St. Joan of Arc Early Learning Centers Annual Gala and Fundraiser. We loved every minute of that busy weekend!

With Halloween right around the corner for the weekend of October 22nd, we had the honor of being a part of Redi Carpet’s Annual Chili Cookoff. They opted in for our green screen and I think we’re all glad they did! The spooky Halloween backgrounds we used really captured the spirit of the party’s spooky theme.

Octobers last weekend had us prepping for a quick trip to Temecula, California for Jeff’s brothers wedding. While Jeff flew, I drove so that we could bring our vintage booth to the wedding. I am so glad that I did! While I attend photo booth events 2-5 times a weekend as an attendant, it’s rare I let myself enjoy the fun of MiHi Photo Booth’s equipment and I forgot how fun using the photo booths is! We gifted the newlyweds with a memory album and I was able to see why I get so many emails from brides about their love for the memory albums after events. It’s so heartwarming to be able to look through photos of the night and read everyone’s well wishes for the guests of honor.

As we all prepare to spend time with loved ones and fill up on turkey, I extend MiHi’s love and unyielding appreciation for everyone who has been a part of our success. It’s because of you that Jeff and I are living our dream and we’re forever grateful for you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Jules
