MiHi was an event partner at the 39th Annual Visit Denver Foundation Golf Tournament. The tournament raised more than $40,000 for scholarships for students going into hospitality and tourism.
Our job was simple. Give every golfer something fun to take home from the day. We did that with golf tournament trading cards.
What guests got
Each golfer had their photo taken on the course. That photo dropped into a custom card built for the event.
- Front: the guest’s photo, their first name, the “2026 Visit Denver Foundation Golf Tournament” banner, and the Foundation’s logo on a golf ball.
- Back panel: “Stats of a Champion.” Every golfer was a champion on this card.
The stats were written for a room full of tourism people on a golf course:
- Drive Distance: Mile High
- Breakfast Burritos Consumed: Pro Level
- Mulligans Used: Questionable
- “That’ll Play” Frequency: Elite
The bottom line on each card thanked players for supporting the next generation of leaders in the tourism and hospitality industry. That kept the cause on the card, not just the event name.
Why it worked for a charity golf tournament
A golf day is long and spread out. Guests do not stand in one line for hours. A card is quick, it is personal, and it fits in a pocket.
- It matches the day. Golf stats, golf jokes, a course in the photo.
- It carries the host’s brand. The Foundation’s name and logo are on every card guests keep.
- It carries the cause. The scholarship thank-you is printed right on it.
- No one loses. At a charity event, every player gets the champion card.
